The Issue Management Tracking & Control Specialist serves as the gatekeeper of issue management tracking system (AuditBoard) with the objective of minimizing organizational risk management/gaps. Incumbent ensures management corrective actions are completed within established timelines. This role also supports regulatory examination/review due diligence/logistics and/or other activities, as deemed appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and tracks all findings for remediation within Issue Management tracking tool (AuditBoard). Ensures issue management inventory is current.
- Drives monthly collaborative issue tracking workflows to business/support units to ensure remediation's are met timely in order to minimize organizational gaps and promote risk mitigation.
- Proactively identifies and elevates any foreseen challenges or unresolved issues to Managers to achieve resolution.
- Partners with stakeholders to ensure corrective action plan comply with organization’s issue management requirements
- Generates weekly management progress, quarterly or ad-hoc Committee and regulatory reports, as needed. Develops/maintains of related procedures within unit and trainings, as needed.
- Support on-site regulatory examination and/or review due diligence requirements and/or logistics, organization’s policy/standards program and/or any other analysis, as deemed necessary.
Work Experience Requirements:
2+ years of banking experience and regulatory knowledge
Exposure to GRC/Risk tools is a plus.
Education and/or Certifications Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Technical Knowledge:
Applied knowledge of the AuditBoard System
Proven ability to analyze and process data and develop engaging presentations
Applied knowledge of banking principles, accounting and audit
Proven experience handling confidential matters
Proficient using the Microsoft Office Product Suite, including: MS Outlook, MS Excel (Advanced Level), MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint
